Write for us

We welcome clear, original pitches that help readers notice something specific about football tactics and match play. Send proposals through the Contact page rather than submitting a full article without a prior discussion.

What fits

Pitch an explanation of a formation, role, attacking pattern, defensive choice or transition that a general football viewer can follow. A strong idea has a clear question, a distinct angle and a useful reason for readers to care.

Make the pitch concrete

Briefly describe the central idea, the examples you would use and what a reader should be able to notice afterward. Explain any specialist terms you expect to use. Keep the proposal focused on one subject rather than offering a broad survey.

Originality and care

Contributions must be original and written in a natural, precise voice. Separate observable events from interpretation, avoid unsupported certainty and do not rely on confidential information. We may edit accepted work for clarity and length.
